PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical patch which can achieve sufficiently higher plasma concentration of asenapine than the conventional patch in a level effective in treatment and which can sufficiently suppress the plasma concentration of asenapine metabolite.SOLUTION: There is provided a medical patch comprising a support layer and an adhesive agent layer. In the medical patch, the adhesive agent layer contains asenapine and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and an adhesive base agent, the adhesive base agent is at least one rubber-based adhesive agent selected from a group consisting of natural rubber, polyisobutylene, alkyl vinyl ether (co) polymer, polyisoprene, polybutadiene, styrene-butadiene copolymer, styrene-isoprene copolymer, and styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, the content of the adhesive base agent is 10-90 mass% with respect to the entire adhesive agent layer, and when the content of the asenapine and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in terms of free asenapine is 3.4 mg in the adhesive agent layer, an area under plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) of the free asenapine between 2 and 120 hours for a period starting from the time when the medical patch is brought into contact with the skin for 24 hours is 27,000 pg hr/mL or more and AUCof an asenapine metabolite is 20% or less of AUCof the free asenapine.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】 治療に有効なレベルの従来より十分に高いアセナピンの血漿中濃度を達成させることができ、かつ、アセナピン代謝物の血漿中濃度を十分に抑制することが可能な貼付剤を提供すること。【解決手段】 支持体層と粘着剤層とを備える貼付剤であって、 前記粘着剤層が、アセナピン及び／又はその薬学的に許容される塩と粘着基剤とを含有しており、 前記粘着基剤が、天然ゴム、ポリイソブチレン、アルキルビニルエーテル（共）重合体、ポリイソプレン、ポリブタジエン、スチレン－ブタジエン共重合体、スチレン－イソプレン共重合体、及びスチレン－イソプレン－スチレンブロック共重合体からなる群から選択される少なくとも一種のゴム系粘着剤であり、 前記粘着基剤の含有量が、前記粘着剤層全体に対して１０～９０質量％であり、かつ、 前記粘着剤層において前記アセナピン及び／又はその薬学的に許容される塩のアセナピンフリー体換算含有量が３．４ｍｇである際に、皮膚に２４時間接触させたときの時間２～１２０時間でのアセナピンフリー体の血漿中濃度－時間曲線下面積（ＡＵＣ２－１２０）が２７，０００ｐｇ・ｈｒ／ｍＬ以上であり、かつ、アセナピン代謝物のＡＵＣ２－１２０が前記アセナピンフリー体のＡＵＣ２－１２０の２０％以下である、ことを特徴とする貼付剤。【選択図】 なし
