<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisturizer which is a structural composition excellent in performances of improving barrier function and retaining epidermal moisture, and an external preparation for the skin containing the same. <；P>；SOLUTION: The moisturizer is the structural composition prepared from a branched fatty acid phytosteryl ester, one or more 10-22C fatty acids, one or more fatty acid triglycerides, squalane, beeswax and jojoba oil and is excellent in performances of retaining epidermal moisture and improved in barrier function.
