PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke detector for detecting smoke generated in a part to be observed on the basis of an image picked up by irradiating the part with a light, wherein highly precise smoke detection is executed by suppressing erroneous smoke detection.SOLUTION: First images based on a light emitted from the part to be observed by irradiating the part to be observed with a first light having a first wavelength band are acquired in time series. Second images based on light emitted from the part to be observed by irradiating the part to be observed with a second light having a wavelength band longer than the first wavelength band are acquired in time series. If the time-series change amount of the first images acquired in time series becomes not less than a predetermined amount and then the time-series change amount of the second images acquired in series becomes not less than a predetermined amount, it is determined that smoke is generated in a vicinity of the part to be observed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】被観察部への光の照射によって撮像された画像に基づいて、被観察部において発生した煙を検出する煙検出装置において、煙の誤検出を抑制し、高精度な煙検出を行う。【解決手段】第1の波長帯域を有する第1の光の被観察部への照射によってその被観察部から発せられた光に基づく第1の画像を時系列に取得し、第1の波長帯域よりも長波長の波長帯域を有する第2の光の被観察部への照射によって被観察部から発せられた光に基づく第2の画像を時系列に取得し、上記時系列に取得した第1の画像の経時変化量が所定量以上になった後、上記時系列に取得した第2の画像の経時変化量が所定量以上になった場合に、被観察部周辺において煙が発生したと判定する。【選択図】図6
