A limb support assembly (1) comprises a T-shaped body portion (2) having first, second and third arms (3, 4, 5) extending orthogonally to each other. Each of the first, second and third arms have at least one spacer member (6a, 6b, 6c) configured for concentric arrangement around the respective first, second and third arms. The spacer members may be hollow cylinders or may comprise a sheet of flexible material that can be bent and conformed to a cylindrical shape and held in the cylindrical shape by means of a securing mechanism, such as a hook and loop fastener, or a press stud arrangement. The spacer members are demountable so that they can be removed and replaced as required. The invention has the advantage of being able to change the diameter of each of the first, second and third arms to adapt to requirements. The further advantage is that each diameter can be changed independently of the others. This means that the assembly can be used with different individuals or with the same individual as their requirements change.
