A spreader system (96) for discharging residue from an agricultural combine to a ground surface. The spreader system (96) including at least one rotatable member (98,100) positioned to encounter the residue and to disperse the residue when in a first orientation. The at least one rotatable member (98,100) having a second orientation wherein the rotatable member (98,100) is configured to contact the ground and to assist in providing support to the agricultural combine when in the second orientation.
