PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an absorbent article containing a cationic antibacterial agent, in which absorbency of a polymer absorption agent containing a carboxyl group is hardly inhibited, a production facility is hardly contaminated, and productivity is excellent.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of an absorbent article 101 comprising a lamination structure 307 containing: a first sheet 301 containing the cationic antibacterial agent and fibers; a second sheet 303 containing cellulosic fibers; and a polymer absorption agent containing layer 305 containing a polymer absorption agent 111 containing a carboxyl group, in this order, the absorbent article having a thickness direction T.
