PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel liquid agent which uses a cationic antibacterial agent having high safety as a liquid agent for contact lens and, even when using together an anionic surfactant capable of maintaining and enhancing a cleaning effect, allows attainment of their desired goals.SOLUTION: The liquid agent for contact lens contains (a) at least one kind of cationic antibacterial agent selected from a group consisting of polyquaternium-4, polyquaternium-6, polyquaternium-11, polyquaternium-16, and polyquaternium-22, (b) an anionic surfactant, and (c) nonionic surfactant.
