PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active carbon-containing beverage with excellent deodorant action.SOLUTION: A heat-treated active carbon-containing beverage is obtained by heating a liquid that contains active carbon and water, where heating conditions satisfy a condition of formula (1) defined by Y≥-0.24X+66, where X refers to the heating time (min) and Y refers to the heating temperature (°C), with X>0 and Y>60. A method of producing the heat-treated active carbon-containing beverage comprises heating a liquid that contains active carbon and water while satisfying the condition of formula (1).
