The present invention is related to a method and pharmaceutical composition for treating lung cancer. The pharmaceutical composition comprises an effective amount of 16-hydroxy-cleroda-3,13-dine-15,16-olide as active ingredient, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The present method and pharmaceutical composition provides good efficacy in treating lung cancer even for drug-resistance patient. The present invention also establishes an animal model bearing human lung cancer, which provides a better drug screening platform for the research.本發明關於一種用於治療肺炎的方法及醫藥組合物。前述醫藥組合物包含有效量之16-羥基-3,13-二烯-15,16-克羅烷內酯作為活性成分，及一醫藥可接受之載劑。在治療肺癌的應用中，本發明之方法及醫藥組合物即便對於具有抗藥性的病人也可以提供好的藥效。本發明也建立帶有人類肺癌的動物模式，而可作為研究中更好的藥物篩選平台。
