PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition which prevents infection between a patient and a doctor at the time of a medical examination and can be moved according to the height of the patient and a room unit provided with the partition. SOLUTION: A room unit U extends between a room 1 having a wall 11, a ceiling 12 and a floor 13 and a ceiling 12 and a floor 13 of the room 1, and divides the room 1 into a first room 1A and a second room 1B. A partition 2 is provided. The walls 11 of the first room 1A and the second room 1B are provided with entrances and exits 14 for entering and exiting, respectively. The partition 2 has a counter 3 that moves in the vertical direction Y, a transparent plate 4 fixed to the counter 3, a through hole provided in the plate 4, and the counter 3 and the plate 4 integrally in the vertical direction Y. It is provided with an elevating device 5 for moving.
