Also discloses Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains obtained from the said strains that retain the same metabolic and functional features as the parent strain. Further discloses a composition comprising at least one of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains or derivative strains selected from No. CNCM I-3856. and No. CNCM I-3799 of yeast and/or cellular extracts from said strains of yeast. Further discloses the use of the composition in the preparation of a medicament for treating intestinal disorders indicated by hyperalgesia (condition associated with increased sensitivity to pain).
