The "Method for nanoencapsulating active principles in an inverse double emulsion and resulting products" describes a method for producing nanoencapsulated active principles, which are generated as a dispersion in a silicophilic phase by means of a process of inverse-phase double nanoemulsion, followed by extraction of water from the intermediate phase by distillation, and nanocapsule formation. Said method describes the use of an inverse double emulsion, such that the hydrophobic or partially hydrophilic active principle is encapsulated in oil with low solubility in water by means of a hydrophilic polymer, and the resulting nanoencapsulated product is in the form of a suspension in a silicophilic medium. Said method comprises carrying out five consecutive processing steps to generate the nanocapsules, consisting of a) solubilizing the active principles to be nanoencapsulated; b) pre-emulsifying a phase containing the active principles solubilized in a solvent that is immiscible or only slightly miscible in water in a saturated aqueous phase of the solvent, and containing encapsulating material; c) emulsifying this resulting pre-emulsion in a silicophilic oil containing emulsifiers; d) nanoemulsifying this double emulsion, and e) distilling for extraction of water from the intermediate phase and nanocapsule formation. The products generated are in the form of a colloidal dispersion in silicophilic medium. The "Method for nanoencapsulating active principles in an inverse double emulsion and resulting products" allows different types of nanocapsules to be produced, wherein the active principle content can be over 10% by weight in the final product, allowing a range of uses in various industry sectors, such as the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, veterinary, food, agrochemical, paper, paint, adhesive, petroleum and gas, construction, and textile industries, inter alia, due to the possibility of producing different nanocapsule compositions containing active principles that are
