PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical packaging apparatus capable of accurately counting the number of pharmaceuticals and improving inspection processing speed, while securing inspection accuracy.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical packaging apparatus 10 includes: a pharmaceutical preparation/dispensing part 20 for preparing pharmaceuticals M in a dispensing-possible state, and dispensing the pharmaceuticals an alignment/discharge part 140 for aligning pharmaceuticals M for single-dose packages dispensed from the pharmaceutical preparation/dispensing part 20 in a row and sequentially discharging them a pre-packaging counting parts 162 and 164 for counting the pharmaceuticals M sequentially discharged from the alignment/discharge part 140 and a packaging part 180 for packaging the pharmaceuticals M counted by the pre-packaging counting part 162 and 164 with packaging paper. The pharmaceutical preparation/dispensing part 20 includes a plurality of pharmaceutical cassettes 32 and 36 for storing the pharmaceuticals M for each type.
