The present invention relates to a hopper device for a drug packing apparatus capable of ultimately storing drugs discharged from drug cassettes of a drug packing apparatus, and discharging the drugs to the drug packing apparatus. According to the present invention, the hopper device for the drug packing apparatus includes a hopper, an openable door, and a linear drive unit. The hopper stores the drugs discharged from the drug cassettes of the drug packing apparatus, and has a discharging hole formed on the bottom to discharge the stored drugs. The openable door opens and closes the discharging hole of the hopper by being horizontally arranged on the discharging hole of the hopper and reciprocating linearly.
