PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nest-building prevention tool enabled to prevent a bird more reliably from building its next on an electric pole.SOLUTION: A nest-building prevention tool 1 comprises: a rod-like component 10 so attached to an electric pole as to extend vertically and an obstruction part 20 having a plurality of rods 24 arranged at predetermined portions of the rod-like component 10 and extending obliquely upward from a predetermined portion.
