The invention discloses a measurement method for identifying foot arch type which carries out measurement and identification according to human footprint data. The method includes the following steps: first, obtaining a static standing footprint of a subject having an outer and an inner contour then obtaining an outer ball and an outer heel tangent point of the footprint, and an inner ball and an inner heel tangent point of the footprint after that, obtaining a ball and a heel mid-point then obtaining a foot center axial line and a foot perpendicular bisector then obtaining the length of a foot width Lf as the length of the foot perpendicular bisector, and obtaining the width a foot arch La and finally calculating a foot type index FTI by dividing the width of the foot arch La by the length of the foot width Lf (FTI=La/Lf), and identifying a foot arch type of the footprint by the foot type index FTI.本發明係揭露一種判別足弓型態的量測方法,其根據人體足印之資料進行量測與判別,該方法包含下列步驟:首先,取得足印,其係待測者在靜態站姿下的足印,且該足印包含外側輪廓線以及內側輪廓線;其次,取得該足印外掌切點與外跟切點,以及該足印內掌切點與內跟切點;其後,取得足掌中點及足跟中點;其次,取得足中軸線與足中垂線;然後,取得足寬長Lf,其係足中垂線的長度;以及取得足弓寬La;最後,將該足弓寬La除以該足寬長Lf,得到一足型指數(Foot Type Index,FTI),即FTI=La/Lf。根據該足型指數即可判別該足印所表彰之足弓型態。S110-S180...流程步驟
