PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging system which can be used for various imaging purposes with a single system without causing enlargement of a device.SOLUTION: An X-ray imaging system images the interior of an analyte by detecting an X-ray which is emitted to the analyte and transmitted through the analyte. The X-ray imaging system includes X-ray generation means, first X-ray detection means and support means. The X-ray generation means generates an X-ray. The first X-ray detection means is arranged so as to face the X-ray generation means and detects the X-ray. The support means supports a holding part which holds second X-ray detection means for detecting the X-ray in a detachable manner.
