To be able to exert water-holding properties, and water-transmitting properties by providing a constitution having hydrophilic characteristics (water immersion characteristics), and having specific direction characteristics (directivity) with regard to the water immersion characteristics, and to use in such an application that a sheet is laid in a planting ground using the water-holding properties, and the water-transmitting properties.SOLUTION: The fiber sheet has a main body layer 2 comprising a nonwoven fabric. The main body layer 2 is constituted by arranging a plurality of immersion function bands 5 which is relatively coarse in fiber density, and a plurality of exudation faction bands 6 which is dense in a band length direction respectively in parallel, and in a band width direction in alternate shifts.
