PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual sense restoration aiding device capable of appropriately applying electric stimulation pulse signals to cells constituting a retina for restoring the visual sense.SOLUTION: The visual sense restoration aiding device for restoring the visual sense by electrically stimulating the cells constituting the retina comprises a photography means for photographing a subject to be recognized by a patient, a signal generating means with a plurality of electrodes disposed on the outside of the choroid of the patients eye for applying the electric stimulation pulse signals to the cells constituting the retina, a signal converting means connected to the photography means for converting the photographed photography information to data for the electric stimulation pulse signals and transmitting the data to the signal generating means, a receiving means connected to the signal generating means for receiving the data from the signal converting means, and an indifferent electrode with the opposite polarity from the polarity of the electrodes.
