Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von Pantothenol (Dexpanthenol) oder dessen physiologisch unbedenklichen Estern bzw. von Pantothensäure oder deren physiologisch unbedenklichen Salzen zur Verringerung der unerwünschten systemischen Resorption von imidazolinbasierten alpha- Sympathomimetika bei deren topischen, insbesondere nasalen, bevorzugt intranasalen Applikation im Rahmen der Behandlung von Rhinitis.The invention relates to the use of pantothenol (dexpanthenol) or the physiologically acceptable esters thereof and of pantothenic acid or the physiologically acceptable salts thereof for reducing the undesired systemic resorption of imidazoline-based alpha-sympathomimetics during their topical, in particular nasal, preferably intranasal application in the treatment of rhinitis.L'invention concerne l'utilisation de pantothénol (dexpanthénol) ou d'esters physiologiquement acceptables de ce dernier, ou d'acide pantothénique ou de sels physiologiquement acceptables de ce dernier, pour réduire la résorption systémique indésirable des sympathomimétiques alpha à base d'imidazoline lors de leur administration topique, en particulier par voie nasale, de préférence par voie intranasale, dans le cadre de traitement de rhinites.
