The present invention provides to a cytidine deaminase (CDA)-resistant compound selected from the group consisting of 1-cyano-cytarabine, 1-cyano-gemcitabine, 1-cyano-5-azacytidine and 1-cyano-5-aza-2-deoxycytidine, a prodrug or an acceptable salt thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same and a method for preventing or treating a cancer using the compound.
