Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung einer Bildsequenz (BS, BS‘, BS*) mittels eines Tomosynthesesystems (1). Dabei stellt die Bildsequenz (BS, BS‘, BS*) ein Untersuchungsobjekt (O) rotierend dar. Das Verfahren weist folgende Schritte auf: In einem ersten Schritt (I) werden zumindest zwei Projektionsdatensätze (PDLE, PDHE) des Untersuchungsobjekts (O) erfasst. Diese wurden unter Verwendung von jeweils unterschiedlichen Röntgenspektren und jeweils aus einer Mehrzahl von Akquisitionswinkeln akquiriert. In einem weiteren Schritt wird (III, III‘) zumindest ein Kombinationsdatensatz (KD, KD‘) auf Basis der Projektionsdatensätze (PDLE, PDHE) berechnet. Folgend wird in einem weiteren Schritt (V) die Bildsequenz (BS, BS‘, BS*) auf Basis des Kombinationsdatensatzes (KD, KD‘, KD*) berechnet.
