PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation method for ficus carica, the method allowing ficus carica to be easily subjected to handling and harvesting procedures and increased in yield and fruit quality.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a cultivation method comprising: extending a branch generated from a main trunk 2 and providing it as a main branch 3, which is allowed to extend so as to crawl near the ground to generate roots 4 from a plurality of portions of the main branch 3 and allowing the plurality of portions of the main branch 3 to be brought into contact with the ground and attracting branches germinated from the main branch 3 upwards to be provided as resultant branches 5.
