PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin external composition which can be suitably used as a cosmetic or a skin external agent, is excellent in safety, has high moisture-retaining performance even under low humidity and is excellent in sensory characteristics without sticky feeling or slimy feeling.SOLUTION: The skin external composition is characterized by comprising the following polyglycerols and/or fatty acid esters thereof.
