PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mental condition determination method capable of physically determining a mental condition such as a mental condition of whether or not there is a tendency of depression easily and simply.SOLUTION: A mental condition determination method includes a creation process for creating basic data for determination from a plurality of measurement data and a determination process for determining a mental condition of a user from the measurement data. The creation process includes a measurement process for acquiring measurement data, a discrimination process for substituting the acquired measurement data into a predetermined equation and performing logistic discrimination analysis, and a setting process for obtaining a correlation coefficient in each measurement data, obtaining a function by the correlation coefficient, obtaining an inflection point on a positive side and an inflection point on a negative side in the function, and setting an intermediate area, a depression area, and a normal area.
