A device for storing fluid from a tissue region, comprising: a delivery tube having a cavity and configured to transmit reduced pressure to the tissue region and receive fluid from the tissue region, and an absorbent material located at least in a portion of the cavity, the cavity having an absorbent portion material and part without absorbent material. 3. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that the absorbent material at least partially covers the inner surface of the cavity.
