PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of properly applying exposure reduction scanning in which X-ray output is made smaller only for the predetermined view angle than in usual scanning to a high-radiation-sensitive portion even if a scanning gantry is tilted.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes: a first setting means for setting a range RD0 enveloping the desired portion 40a of a subject and in at least the body axis direction of the subject a second setting means for setting a tilting angle α of the scanning gantry and a third setting means for setting the conditions of exposure reduction scanning so that the desired portion 40a can be enveloped by a region DT of exposure reduction scanning when the scanning gantry is tilted at the tilting angle α, on the basis of the range RD0 set by the first setting means and the tilting angle α set by the second setting means.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】所定のビュー角度範囲だけX線出力を通常より小さくする被曝低減スキャンを、走査ガントリをチルトしても、放射線感受性の高い部位に対して適正に行うことができるX線CT装置を提供する。【解決手段】被検体の所望の部位40aを内包する、少なくとも被検体の体軸方向の範囲RD0を設定する第1の設定手段と、走査ガントリのチルト角αを設定する第2の設定手段と、第1の設定手段により設定された範囲RD0と、第2の設定手段により設定されたチルト角αとに基づいて、走査ガントリをチルト角αで傾斜させた場合の被曝低減スキャンの領域DTに所望の部位40aが内包されるよう、被曝低減スキャンの条件を設定する第3の設定手段とを備える構成とする。【選択図】図6
