PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having superior external appearance before and while wearing and capable of preventing its slipping-down.
SOLUTION: This absorbent material is provided with an absorbent body 10 including an absorbent core, and an exterior material 11a (11b) disposed in a skin non-abutment face side of the absorbent body 10 the exterior material 11a (11b) has a first sheet material 12 having elasticity in the width direction of the absorbent article, and a second sheet material 13 disposed in the absorbent body side of the first sheet material 12 the second sheet material 13 is disposed with an elastic member 71 in the absorbent body side in a waist part 70 and the first sheet material 12 and the second sheet material 13 are separated in a portion 73 in the vertical direction of the absorbent article where the elastic member 71 is disposed.
