PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device enabling local temperature control of the dwarf stem of a plant, reduced in energy loss due to heat dissipation, and giving little moisture stress to the cultured plant.SOLUTION: The plant cultivation device includes a culture soil tank 5 whose inner space is filled with culture soil a root-penetrable sheet 6 for preventing the culture soil placed in the culture soil tank 5 from dropping off through a root-passing opening 5d a heat-insulating irrigation tank 4 which is made of heat-insulating material, in the lower part of the inner space of which irrigation water W is reserved, and into the upper part of which the culture soil tank 5 is set a heat-insulating lid 7 which is made of heat-insulating material, with which the culture soil tank 5 is covered, and through which planting holes 7a allowing the stems at the stock base of the cultured plant to pass and a temperature control pipe 8 set up so as to pass through the inside of the culture soil tank 5.
