PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a manipulator to easily manipulate an ROI by preferentially choosing the ROI in which the manipulator shows a high interest as a target of manipulation.SOLUTION: In the MRI apparatus 100, a computer system 20 stores ROI preference information in which the order of preference is set in the order of the frequency of manipulation for every kind of the ROI indicating an imaging range or imaging position set on the image of a subject P. The computer system 20 draws the ROI on the image of the subject P displayed in a display section 25. The computer system 20 decides that the ROI given a highest order of preference from among a plurality of ROI is the target of manipulation on the basis of the ROI preference information when receiving a manipulation specifying the position where a plurality of ROI are drawn in a superposition state on the image of the subject P from the manipulator.
