<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor of the blood lipid level increase which inhibits the increase in a blood lipid level. <；P>；SOLUTION: The inhibitor of the blood lipid increase contains as an active ingredient a Parasol leaf tree extract prepared by extraction with an extractant containing at least an organic solvent. Parasol leaf tree is a plant also called Macaranga tanarius and is an evergreen broadleaf tree belonging to the genus Macaranga of the Family Euphorbiaceae. Among trees, Parasol leaf tree grows very rapidly and can grow even in barren land.
