A method, apparatus and computer program product of determining a state of a vehicle driver, the method comprising: receiving an image of the driver captured by a hyper spectral camera capable of imaging body features invisible to a human； receiving telemetry information from a car telemetry system； analyzing the image to receive at least one indicator to a clinical parameter of the driver； and fusing the at least one indicator with the telemetry information to obtain an assessment to a stress level of the driver.L'invention concerne un procédé, un appareil et un produit de programme informatique de détermination de l'état d'un conducteur de véhicule, le procédé comportant les étapes consistant à: recevoir une image du conducteur capturée par une caméra hyperspectrale capable d'imager des caractéristiques corporelles invisibles pour un humain； recevoir des informations de télémétrie provenant d'un système de télémétrie de voiture； analyser l'image pour recevoir au moins un indicateur d'un paramètre clinique du conducteur； et fusionner l'indicateur ou les indicateurs avec les informations de télémétrie pour obtenir une évaluation d'un niveau de stress du conducteur.
