PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel equipped with a handle that can improve bending strength and torsional strength while reducing the weight, and the handle.SOLUTION: There is provided a fishing reel equipped with a handle having connection parts 311 and 321 connected to a power transmission shaft of a winding driving mechanism of the reel body, and an arm part 30 in which a knob part 40 for a rotation operation is provided to tip parts 313 and 323. The arm part 30 consists of two or more plate-like members including a first plate-like member 31 and a second plate-like member 32.
