PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion skin cosmetic which spreads well while giving a thick feeling during application, has good skin compatibility and has excellent sustainability of moist feeling without sticky feeling.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-in-water type emulsion skin cosmetic which comprises 0.1 to 10 mass% of the following high molecular weight alkyloxirane derivative (a), 1 to 15 mass% of a polyhydric alcohol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms (b), 1 to 25 mass% of a liquid oil (c) and 1 to 10 mass% of a nonionic surfactant (d).
