Disclosed is a dry coating method which can coat a tablet in a simple manner andwith high efficiency, and therefore can produce a tablet having good appearanceand hardly causing breaking/cracking. Specifically disclosed is a method forproducing a tablet coated with a coating agent comprising a melting substance,which comprises the steps of: heating an uncoated tablet to a temperature equalto or higher than the melting temperature of the melting substance； and contactingthe uncoated tablet with the coating agent to coat the uncoated tablet.
