PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which can maintain features such as light weight and high sensitivity by using a rod body to which a rear grip part is integrally formed, and which can reduce a gripping weight feeling and a shaking weight feeling.SOLUTION: A fishing rod comprises: a hollow main rod body 1； and a hollow rear grip rod body 2 which is provided on a rear side of the main rod body 1 and to which a rear grip part 21 is integrally formed. The fishing rod further comprises a jointed part 3 where the main rod body 1 and the rear grip rod body 2 are jointed by inserting a front part of the rear grip rod body 2 into inside of a rear part of the main rod body 1.
