The present invention relates to the use of a sugar-alcohol for stabilizingtibolone in a soliddosage form. The invention also pertains to a pharmaceutical composition, inparticular asolid dosage form such as a tablet, comprising tibolone and a sugar-alcoholand a non-sugar-alcoholdiluent, wherein the weight ratio of the sugar-alcohol to the non-sugar-alcoholdiluent is comprised between 4:1 and 1:4, and a method for preparing the same.
