PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an X-ray photographic image easy to diagnose in any part by inexpensively and easily correcting the density of a jaw joint region to uniform the density of the whole panorama X-ray photograph.SOLUTION: In dental panorama X-ray photographing, absorption in the jaw joint region is larger than that in the other regions to become white. The density is corrected by controlling the X-ray tube voltage or tube current in this jaw joint regions.
