The excreta treatment unit has an excreta recovery unit attached to the through hole, an excreta storage unit configured to store excreta recovered at the excreta recovery unit, and a cleaning unit attached to the excreta recovery unit for jetting washing water upward via the through hole. The excreta recovery unit has a cup fitted to the through hole, a recovery pipe provided between the cup and the excreta storage unit, and a convex part extending upward from an edge of the cup to be inserted between the buttocks.
