PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method and a cutting mechanism of a compounding apparatus which permit a safety measure to be taken for cutting edges without providing a separate protective member or the like around the cutting edges.SOLUTION: The cutting method comprises: inserting the tip of a vertical upper edge 740 into the groove of a vertical lower edge 760, when the cutting of a PTP tablet sheet or the rest is not performed inserting the tip of a horizontal upper edge 750 into the groove of a horizontal lower edge 770 and previously moving both of the upper edges to prescribed home positions when cutting is performed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】カッタ刃の周囲に、別途に保護部材等を設けることなく、カッタ刃の安全対策等を講ずることのできる調剤装置のカッティング方法及びカッティング機構を提供すること。【解決手段】このカッティング方法では、PTP錠剤シート又は残部のカッティングを行わないときには、縦上刃740の先端を縦下刃760の溝に挿入するとともに、横上刃750の先端を横下刃770の溝に挿入するようにし、カッティングを行うときには両上刃を事前に所定のホームポジションに移動させるようにしている。【選択図】図6
