A cotton candy preparing device (100) is provided that has:a rotary pot (260) dividable into a pot upper portion (261) and a pot bottom portion (310), a plurality of legs (307) extending downwards from near a circumferential edge portion of a lower end of the upper pot portion (261) and including a leg end portion (309) expanding outwards at a lower end thereof, a heating plate (311) provided on an upper surface of the pot bottom portion (310), and leg receiving holes (333) provided near a circumferential edge portion of the upper surface of the pot bottom portion (310) to allow the legs (307) to be inserted individually, and the leg receiving holes (333) each have an inserting portion (334) permitting the passage of the leg end portion (309) and a leg stopping portion (335) connecting continuously to a side of the inserting portion (334) and whose width to an outer circumferential direction of the rotary pot (260) is made narrower than the inserting portion (334).
