PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide herbal-medicine extract powders that can suppress hygroscopicity and keep fragrance, and to provide a production method in which a problem caused at the time of the production of herbal-medicine extract powders using a herbal-medicine extract is solved.SOLUTION: The present inventors have conducted intensive studies to solve the above problem and have consequently found that hygroscopicity of herbal-medicine extract powders containing a hygroscopic substance and dextrin can be suppressed and its fragrance is kept. We have also found that a problem caused at the time of production can be solved by adding a hygroscopic substance and dextrin to a herbal-medicine extract and spray-drying it. As a result, the present invention has been completed.
