PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can suppress a discomfort felt by a wearer and which can deform along a shape of a body of a wearer.SOLUTION: There is provided an absorbent article 3 which is worn by a wearer and absorbs a liquid, comprising: a first absorption part 31 containing absorbent fibers； and a second absorption part 32 containing absorbent fibers, and arranged on a side opposite to a wearer sandwiching the first absorption part 31 during wearing. The absorbent fibers for a unit volume in the second absorption part 32 are larger than the absorbent fibers for a unit volume in the first absorption part 31. In a cross section vertical to a longitudinal direction X, the first absorption part 31 is arranged in a first range AC containing a center CL2 in a short direction Y, and in second ranges AS positioned on both sides of the short direction Y sandwiching the first range AC, the first absorption part is thinner than that in the first range AC or the first absorption part is not provided.
