PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimicrobial liquid detergent composition having improved greasiness during cleaning or rinsing. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition comprises (a) 0.1-10 mass% of a compound represented by general formula (1) R1a-A-B (1) [wherein, R1ais a 7-10C alkyl group having≥1 tertiary carbons or the like; A is a group of O or the like; and B is a group or the like having 2-10 hydroxy groups and 3-12 total number of carbons], (b) a compound selected from (b1) to (b3), (c) 5-50 mass% of an anionic surfactant, (d) 1-20 mass% of a surfactant selected from an amine oxide type surfactant or the like and water. (b1) a water-soluble cationic antimicrobial compound having≥1 g solubility in 100 g of water at 20°C and an 8-16C alkyl group, (b2) a compound selected from 2-(4-thiocyanomethylthio)benzimidazole or the like and (b3) a compound selected from cedrol or the like.
