Es werden flüssige Zusammensetzungen beschrieben enthaltend a) von 40 bis 99,9 Gew.-% Sorbitanmonocaprylat und b) von 0,1 bis 60 Gew.-% an einem oder mehreren antimikrobiellen Wirkstoffen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus den Komponenten b1) bis b5) b1) spezielle organische Säuren und ihre Salze, b2) spezielle Formaldehyd-Donoren, b3) spezielle Isothiazolinone, b4) spezielle Parabenester und ihre Salze, b5) spezielle Pyridone und ihre Salze.
