PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device which is capable of imaging both of an object point on a center axis and an omnidirectional image in the direction substantially vertical to the center axis simultaneously onto one image pickup device with a simple constitution, is miniaturized and is inexpensive, to provide an optical system provided with the optical device and to provide an endoscope using the optical system.
SOLUTION: The optical device comprises a side view optical path A and a direct view optical path B. On a side view optical path A, a luminous flux made incident on the optical element L2 in the order of forward ray tracing has such an optical path of substantially Z shape as to enter the optical device L2 through a first transmission surface 21, be reflected on a first reflection surface 22 to the side opposite to an image face 5, be reflected on a second reflection surface 23 to the image face side and outgo to the image face side from the optical device L2 through a second transmission surface 24. The luminous flux made incident, on a direct view optical path B, has such an optical path as to enter the optical element L2 through a third transmission surface 25 and outgo to the image face 5 side from the optical device L2 through a fourth transmission surface 26.
