PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling device having excellent load bearing properties, and a chair body including the handling device.SOLUTION: A handling device 1 includes: an operating member 3 a receiving member 4 for pivotally supporting the operating member and regulation structures 5a and 5b for regulating turning of the operating member 3 rotationally turning from a first position P1, not to exceed a second position P2. The operating member 3 includes a base part 30 orthogonal to a rotational axis 3r, and the base part 30 includes a rotational shaft part 30a including the rotational axis 3r. The base part 30 has a surface 3s crossing with a circumferential direction of the turning, and receiving member 4 has a surface 4s facing the surface 3s. When the force of rotationally turning beyond the second position P2 is applied to the operating member 3, the surface 3s and the surface 4s come into contact and the regulation structures 5a and 5b regulate the turning thereof. The surface 3s is a surface of a contact part defined as a site including a part of the base part 30 of the operating member 3 and the rotational shaft part 30a. The surface 4s is a surface of a contact stop member set on the receiving member 4. The contact part includes the rotational shaft part 30a, so that a load is received at a part near the rotational axis 3r. This configuration attains high load bearing property.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】耐荷重性能に優れた操作装置、および、操作装置を備えた椅子体を提供する。【解決手段】操作装置1は、操作部材3と、これを軸支する受部材4とを有し、第1位置P1から回動する操作部材3の回動を、第2位置P2を超えないように規制する規制構造5a,5bを備える。操作部材3は回動軸3rに直交する基部30を有し、基部30は回動軸3rを含む回動軸部30aを有する。基部30は回動の周方向に交わる面3sを有し、受部材4は面3sに対向する面4sを有する。規制構造5a,5bは操作部材3に第2位置P2を超えて回動させる力が加わった際に、面3sと面4sとが当接して回動を規制する。面3sは操作部材3の基部30の一部と回動軸部30aとを含む部位として定義される当接部の面である。面4sは受部材4に設定された当止部材の面である。当接部が回動軸部30aを含むため、回動軸3rの付近で荷重を受けられ、耐荷重性能に優れる。【選択図】図3
