PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of installing an electrostatic atomizing device in front of a supply opening without reducing the supplied-air volume and impairing a function of the electrostatic atomizing device.SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizing device 9 is disposed in a wind speed adjusting area 8 defined at an upstream side of a supply opening 2 of a main body 4. The electrostatic atomizing device 9 is disposed at a tongue portion 6 side of a wind speed branching track 7 connecting an outer periphery of a centrifugal fan 5 and the tongue portion 6 of a scroll chamber, and composed of a discharge electrode 10, an opposite electrode 11, a Peltier element 12, and a heat exchanging portion 13 connected with a radiation side of the Peltier element 12.
