PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of integrally having a shower function and a mist function without increasing a manufacturing cost, and giving no inconvenient feeling to a user.SOLUTION: The mist generator 1 includes: a front member 7 having jet parts 15 a rear member 8 allowing hot and cold water to flow to the front member 7 side and a blocking member 9 moving in a direction to approach the jet parts and separate from the jet parts 15 to switch the inflow direction of hot and cold water led into the jet parts 15. In the separated state of the blocking member 9 from the jet parts, the supplied hot and cold water flows rectilinearly through a first path to jet a shower flow from the jet parts 15, and in the close state of the blocking member 9 to the jet parts 15, the supplied hot and cold water flows while swirling through a second path to jet a mist flow from the jet parts 15.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、製造コストを増加させることなく、シャワー機能とミスト機能を一体的に備えることができると共に、使用者に不便を感じさせることがないミスト発生装置を提供することを目的とした。【解決手段】ミスト発生装置1は、噴射部15を有したフロント部材7と、湯水をフロント部材7側に流すリア部材8と、噴射部15に対して近接・離反方向に移動して噴射部15に導入される湯水の流入方向を切り換える閉塞部材9とを備えている。閉塞部材9が噴射部から離反した状態では、供給された湯水は第1経路を介して直進的に流れて噴射部15からシャワー流を噴射し、閉塞部材9が噴射部15に近接した状態では、供給された湯水は第2経路を介して旋回しながら流れて噴射部15からミスト流を噴射する。【選択図】図9
