The present invention may include a wireless probe, an ultrasound imaging device, and a control method thereof. The wireless probe according to one aspect includes a determination part for determining whether to perform switching to a low power mode based on at least one among the state of wireless communication network, whether it is an ultrasonic image for an object, position information between the ultrasonic imaging device and the wireless probe, and whether a preset waiting time has elapsed； and a probe control part for controlling the switching to the low power mode based on the determination result. So, various ultrasonic images can be obtained.무선 프로브, 초음파 영상 장치, 및 이에 대한 제어방법을 포함할 수 있다. 일 측에 따른 무선 프로브는, 무선 통신망의 상태, 대상체에 관한 초음파 영상인지 여부, 초음파 영상 장치와 무선 프로브 간의 위치 정보, 및 미리 설정된 대기시간의 경과 여부 중 적어도 하나를 기초로 저전력 모드로의 전환 여부를 판단하는 판단부； 및 상기 판단 결과에 기초하여, 저전력 모드로의 전환을 제어하는 프로브 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
